Welcome to The Chapel’s 2009 World AIDS Day experience.  Every year on December 1, people from around the world spend the day learning about AIDS and encouraging the millions of people suffering from it. This website is part of our contribution: a tool to expand your own knowledge, a resource to pass on to others, and a reminder to spend time in prayer and in practical support of those who face AIDS daily.  In each section of this site you'll find some relevant information, a prayer point, and a variety of resources and links.  Thanks for joining us…

Resources

There is no cure for AIDS...yet.  But one of the best ways to fight AIDS now is through education.  Begin by educating yourself and then share your knowledge with your friends and family.  There are many misconceptions and a general lack of knowledge about AIDS.  You can be a part of the vaccine to this lack of knowledge.  You've already taken a first step by joining us at this site for some time today.

Each section of this site has its own resource page that pertains particularly to its own emphasis.  On this section's resource page you'll find a variety of resources that will provide you with a basic knowledge of AIDS and the campaign to end its grip on the world.

Prayer
Take several moments to pray for those who are creating resources, researching vaccines and antidotes, and educating others.  Ask God to help you consider your part in the process.
